WO Countdown
A live countdown to the end of a WATCHOUT 6 cue. Place a container image on the timeline and WO Countdown shows the time left — following the playhead in real time, with no countdown video to render.
How it works
Container cue
Drop a transparent container image on any timeline and stretch the cue to the length you need. The countdown reaches 00:00 exactly at the end of the cue.
Follows the playhead
Connects to the WATCHOUT Production PC and reads every timeline's position live. Jumps, pauses and stops are followed instantly; several timelines are listed side by side.
Reads the show file
Cue start and duration are read from the saved .watch file. Save the show in WATCHOUT and WO Countdown reloads it within two seconds.
Window and HDMI output
A clean output with only the countdown, windowed or fullscreen on the monitor you choose, with custom colours and optional timeline name.
NDI and web page
Send the countdown as an NDI source, optionally with transparent background, or open it as a web page from any browser on the network — ready for vMix or OBS.
Companion variables
Pushes the countdown to Bitfocus Companion custom variables: full time, hours, minutes, seconds, active flag and timeline name.
Read-only by design
WO Countdown never controls WATCHOUT: it only reads. Nothing in the show can be started or stopped from it.
